You're Not From Around Here, Are You?
Have spent the day wandering amongst the blue domes of the Registan in Samarkand. Quite a highlight of the trip so far.
Got up early for a wander round town before it got to hot and visited the Registan and associated schools (medressas) before going to the huge local markets for another lunch of bread and kebabs.
That evening we went for dinner in a local restaurant that only seated 6.
