Etosha National Park – Etosha, Namibia

Zebra, Etosha, Namibia

Two days in the Etosha National Park with more game viewing – saw the usual, plus Gemsbok, Springbok, Jackal and Wildebeest. Also saw a lion chasing a giraffe. Not sure I wanted to see it getting ripped to shreds, but it managed to get away.

Highlight was getting a glimpse of a rare Black Rhino.

Saw some Sociable Weaver bird nests. No-one believed that they were ostrich nests…

At the campsite there was a floodlit watering hole, with about 50 people all staring silently at absolutely nothing. The next watering hole we saw, I ignored, only to be told that I missed about 400 zebras all coming to drink at once. Typical.
