Clear waters at Caye Caulker
A short border crossing later and we entered the English-speaking Belize, famed in the UK for being where the British Army does its jungle training.
We thankfully avoided having to trek though miles of jungle carrying heavy packs and instead boarded a speedboat out to the beautiful island of Caye Caulker.
Here we spent a couple of days relaxing on the beaches and heading out to sea to have a go at snorkelling on the surrounding coral reef before heading back to the island for a freshly caught seafood BBQ.
