There’s not much to say about a one hour car journey, but the views from the roadside between Songpan and Jiuzhaigou rivalled those of the JiaJinShan pass on the way to Four Maidens.

HuangLong (literally “Yellow Dragon”) is the lesser known companion to Jiuzhaigou. Both are UNESCO World Heritage Sites due to their scenic and historic interest.
