Fun couple of long driving days trying to get to Delhi across the bumpy roads.
Highlight of the first day was the visit to the rat temple at Bikaner, where dozens of holy rats run around freely, nibbling on visitor’s feet and giving them horrible diseases.
Camped overnight in the sand dunes, which was warm enough to sit outside until about 3.30 when a police car turned up and told us we should move on, unless we paid them a fee “to protect us from tigers”.
